This was made for the Christmas mapping contest where we finished 1st place.
“Chip” is techically a walking Magic Box, it would walk around the map and stop at certain locations. Upon giving it a 1000 points it would move to a random location and started to dig up a random weapon. After it dug up the weapon it would go back to the player and give the weapon.
There was also a small EE for this, when completed it would give the player Pack-a-Punched weapons.
This was a replacement for the Monkey bomb or the Li’l Arnies. It would create a big tornado and suck all the zombies within range.
This is the first and only ( to my knowledge ) drivable “trap” in zombies. It started with the idea of having “Chompy” from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in the map. But then i thought it would be a lot more fun if you could actually drive it. So i added a chair and a steering wheel on it and made some basic animations.
We had four deers scattered around the map. You had to escort them all back to their stables. During the escort you have to stay close or the deer would not move. There would also be wolves spawning trying to attack the deer.
This was the christmas variant of the dragon/dog heads. If a zombie nearby was killed it would activate. A soul would rise up from the body and get eaten by the deer.
After a deer was done eating it would give you a tool in return to repair santa’s sleigh.
The nutcrackers were actually added as a small joke. Before the magic box changed location, it would shoot out three nutcrackers.
They would all start chasing the player who last used the magic box.
